AHEC Fall ʻAha Hālāwai hosted by Hauʻoli Kamanaʻo Church
The Fall ʻAha Hālāwai, the annual gathering of the Association of Hawaiian Evangelical Churches (AHEC), was hosted by Hauʻoli Kamanaʻo Church for the first time in Miloliʻi, South Kona, on Hawaiʻi Island from October 20-21, 2023.
The theme was Ua Hoʻoikaika ʻla Ka Poʻe o ke Akua, Godʻs people are strengthened, based on Jeremiah 1:18-19.
"Today I have made you a fortified city, an iron pillar and a bronze wall to stand against the whole land—against the kings of Judah, its officials, its priests and the people of the land. 19 They will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the LORD."
"No ka mea, aia hoʻi, ua hana aku au iā ʻoe i kēia lā i kūlanakauhale paʻa, a i kia hao, a i mau pā keleawe no ka ʻāina a pau, a no nā aliʻi o ka Iuda, a no ko lākou mau luna, a no ko lākou mau kāhuna, a no nā kānaka o ka ʻāina. A e kaua mai nō lākou iā ʻoe, ʻaʻole naʻe lākou e lanakila ma luna ou, no ka mea, ʻo wau pū nō me ʻoe, e hoʻopakele iā ʻoe, wahi a Iēhova."
