Lake Institute on Faith & Giving presents 4-part webinar series

The Lake Institute on Faith & Giving at IUPUI and the Office of Philanthropy, Technology, Identity, and Communication (OPTIC) within the National Setting of the UCC have collaborated to present a four-part webinar series that provides knowledge and skills for congregations in the area of nonprofit administration. These webinars emphasize strategic communications for development, stewardship, and related planning, management, and leadership activities. Of broad interest to a wide audience, these hourlong webinars are aimed at congregational, judicatory, and UCC agency leadership (clergy and lay).


Webinar 1 - Planning the Annual Communications and Development Calendar

October 7, 2020 For many organizations, including congregations, the last three months of the year are of primary importance for year-round success in communications, marketing, and development. Addressed in this first webinar:

  • The cycle of giving in your organization or congregation

  • Planning for annual and year-round appeals
