Laupahoehoe Congregational Church celebrated their 200th anniversary in 2023

Laupahoehoe Congregational Church on Hawai‘i Island (at 36-106 Pu‘ualaea Homestead Road) celebrated their 200th anniversary on Saturday, August 5, with a worship service followed by the Hō‘ike ‘Aha Mele and a luncheon. The theme was John 8:12, "Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."
