Religious leaders and organizations around the country issued statements of condemnation in the wake of the recent attack on the U.S. Capitol by supporters of President Trump:
UCC General Minister and President John Dorhauer sent a message of hope on the feast of Epiphany.
UCC national leaders condemned the insurrection that took place at the U.S. Capitol on January 6 and called on church members to engage in acts of love, kindness and compassion.
The Hawai'i Conference's Justice and Witness Missional Team shared a statement from Religions for Peace USA, an organization of which the UCC is a member.
The National Council of Churches (NCC) also released a statement on the mob attack.
